Controls:

  • WASD = move
  • QE = turn without moving
  • Z = pass turn
  • X = interact
  • C = toggle crawling
  • F = leap
  • 1-9 = cast spells
  • R = to change what spells 1-9 cast.
  • I and L = to change tile size(Browser's ctrl +/- probably works just as well if not better).

Inspired mainly by The Agnietta(crawling and liquids) and Rift Wizard(somewhat limited spells as main method for dealing with enemies)

Very creative mechanic with the gems. I loved the player control it reminded me of a top down RL version of Flashback almost, due the precision available. Very sweet entry.

Current bugs I know about:

leaping and slipping around defeated monsters can probably result in weird behaviour

time doesn't pass in rooms you aren't in leading to some slight weirdness, especially when it's dark.

hunter's DIG probably still doesn't work correctly always

leap cooldown can be weird
